Fitting Guide
Your Blossom to Bloom Fitting Guide
The easiest way to find your perfect fit
Because our clothing is preloved, sizing can vary between brands and individual pieces.
That’s why we provide flat garment measurements wherever possible — and the best way to use them is to measure something you already own that fits you well.
📏 Here’s what to do
Find a top, dress, jumpsuit, skirt or pair of trousers that fits you comfortably and the way you like it to.
Lay it flat on a flat surface, smooth out any wrinkles and grab your Blossom to Bloom tape measure.
Then compare your measurements with the measurements listed on the item you’re interested in.
👚 Bust
Lay the garment flat and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
Don’t double the measurement.
For example:
Bust: 18” flat
means the garment measures approximately 18 inches from armpit to armpit when laid flat.
🤍 Waist
Lay the garment flat and measure straight across the waist from one side to the other.
Again, don’t double the measurement.
Compare this measurement with a similar garment you already own that fits you well.
🍑 Hips
For dresses, skirts and trousers, lay the garment flat and measure straight across the widest part of the hips.
Compare this with a similar item you already own.
📏 Length
For dresses, tops and jumpsuits, we measure from the top of the shoulder down to the hem.
For trousers, we measure the inside leg where applicable.
🌸 Our Top Tip
Don’t worry too much about the size on the label.
A UK 10 from one brand can fit completely differently from a UK 10 from another — especially with preloved clothing.
Instead, take something from your own wardrobe that fits you perfectly, measure it flat and compare those measurements with ours.
It’s one of the easiest ways to shop preloved with confidence.
💕 And don’t forget…
Every Blossom to Bloom order comes with a measuring tape, so you’ll always have one handy for future purchases.
Measure something you love. Compare the measurements. Find your next bloom. 🌸
